Sage Hill Kitchen gets a Brand-New Look

If you are looking into upgrading your kitchen without doing a complete renovation, this may be the right size project for you! You will see a stunning transformation of this kitchen, without the need for a full remodel.

The kitchen originally had a small island and a round, eat-in dinner table. We removed the existing island and replaced it with a new Fabuwood, Allure; Galaxy, Indigo Island. The new island spans over 8’ in length and 5’ wide. A large overhang on the island now replaces the seating area that was once at the dinner table. The island offers a large countertop workspace, as well as extra cabinet storage below. The island is equipped with full extension pull out shelves. A Nuvo Lighting Lake 36" Black and Brushed Nickel Linear Pendant Light is now centered above the new island.

The remaining cabinets throughout the kitchen underwent a full makeover. The old, dark stained cabinet’s doors and drawer fronts were removed and disposed of. The cabinet frames were sanded and refinished with color matched Fabuwood, Dove paint. All new Fabuwood, Allure; Galaxy, Dove door sets and drawers were installed using new soft close Blum hinges. The existing cabinet knobs were replaced with Berenson’s Aspire 128mm Brushed Tin Pulls.

In addition to the existing cabinet layout, 7 new cabinets were added to the kitchen. Extending the cabinet run to the left of the kitchen sink, the 18” base cabinet now houses the Double 35 Quart Pull Out RevAShelf Trash/Recycle Can. This allowed for a new location for the trash can, now conveniently next to the dishwasher and sink. A new coffee bar is now incorporated into the space. This offers additional storage and enlarges the size of the kitchen.

Maritime Cape May Buff 3”x12” Glossy ceramic tile replaced the existing dark backsplash. The new light, creamy color brings a freshness to the kitchen space and pairs perfectly with the Fabuwood, Dove cabinet color. The new countertops feature Emerstone’s Super White Quartz. Although the name can be deceiving, the cool toned countertops contain gray color variations throughout. Also bringing out pops of color in the kitchen, the Catalina Blue Ruvati 32 x 19” epiGranite Undermount Granite Composite Single Bowl Sink is made from natural stone. The sink is colored all the way through, for a rich, consistent look that will never fade. The Catalina Blue sink highlights the Fabuwood, Indigo cabinet color. The sink is accompanied with Moen’s Sinema 1.5 GPM Single Hole Pull-Down Bar Faucet and Moen’s Modern Soap Dispenser Spot Resist Stainless. A Badger 1/2 hp InSinkErator was installed in the sink with a brushed nickel countertop push button.

Additional updates include under cabinet LED lighting, recessed high hat overhead lights, upgraded light switches and receptacles, and installing customer supplied appliances. The kitchen walls were freshly painted using Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray Paint. The ceiling, doors and trim was also painted using Sherwin Williams paints.
